She was the youngest of a family of ten children, all deceased. She united with the Christian church at an early age, but some thirty or thirty-five years ago she transferred her membership to the Livingston Baptist church and remained a member of this body until God called her home. On the 4th day of May, 1890, she was united in marriage with John I. Ackley, who preceded her in death, Jan. 23, 1931. Five sons were born to the union: Pearl (deceased), George, of Fairfield, Clark at home, Hazen and Roy of Unionville, Mo. She is also survived by three grandsons, George Junior, of Marion, Ohio, Roger Lee of Amarillo, Texas, and Donald of Fairfield. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Livingston Baptist church, conducted by the Rev. Luther W. Childs. Interment in the Livingston cemetery.
